Abstract
Carcinoid tumors are low grade malignant tumors with neuroendocrine differentiation and are able to occur in almost every organ, especially gatrointestinal and respiratory tracts. Since intrinsic neuroendocrine cells have not been identified in normal kidney and renal pelvic tissue, primary carcinoid tumor of the kidney is very rare, only 50 cases having been reported in the literature so far. Little have been known about its clinical presentation, prognosis, pathologic and radiologic findings due to its rarity. Herein, we present a case of 41 year old woman with primary renal carcinoid tumor.
